The Moon lambskin girth by Kavalkade is a girth with a half-moon cut, through which the horse has greater elbow room. This girth prevents the saddle from slipping, so it has a secure fit. The material is on the one hand textile and on the other hand medical lambskin, which has an anti-allergic and antiseptic effect. This makes the girth particularly suitable for sensitive horse skin. In addition, lambskin promotes blood circulation to the muscles and distributes pressure evenly over the horse’s belly. Thanks to the natural creation of lambskin, the girth has a kind of massaging effect on the horse’s muscles and thus optimal comfort is guaranteed. Another advantage of medical lambskin is that it is breathable, which prevents heat accumulation and heavy sweating under the girth. Even if the horse sweats under the girth this is not a problem, because the girth is dimensionally stable and the lambskin straightens up again after riding.
