Stübben Steeltec Single Broken Loose Ring Bit Golden Wings
- a classic, single broken loose ring bit that also features the proven golden wings cheek pieces for protection of the corners of the mouth and stability
- the single broken mouthpiece ensures even pressure on the interdental space and provides some relief for the tongue
Note: Any bit can cause pain if used roughly or improperly. The wrong size can also be painful for the horse.

- 90 % sweet copper, 7 % Zinc, 4 % iron + aluminum (hardened), nickel-free
- rings: stainless steel

Care instructions
- clean under running water after every ride
- dry with a towel
Size guide
- use a bit that already fits well as a reference for the correct size
- alternatively, measure the mouth width: place a bit gauge or soft string in the intended position in the mouth
- mark the ends and measure the distance
- proper bit width: the rings should sit just outside or slightly beyond the corners of the mouth
- bit that is too tight: causes pressure
- bit that is too wide: shifts inside the mouth; bits with freely moving rings:
- allow for approx. 1 cm of play on one side
- enables free rotation without pinching the lips
