Trust Sweet Iron Pony Hanging Cheek Bit, eliptical
The elipitical pony hanging cheek bit by Trust is a model that is specially adapted to the needs of ponies. The side pieces are smaller and the mouthpiece thinner and shorter. The side part consists of an olive head ring with an additional small ring on top. The cheek piece is attached to the small ring and the reins to the olive head ring, creating a slight leverage effect. The side piece is firmly attached to the double-broken mouthpiece, so that it lies smoothly in the mouth. In addition, the rider’s aids are conveyed directly. The special Sweet Iron alloy stimulates salivation and chewing. Acceptance is also significantly increased thanks to this alloy, as it oxidises on contact with moisture and forms sweet-tasting surface rust for horses.
Note: When not in use, a thin orange-brown layer of rust will develop on the mouthpiece, this can be removed with a damp cloth and is not a quality defect!
