- the easy control loose ring bit (double broken) changes between a flexible water snaffle and a bar bit depending on the rein pull
- with a light contact it behaves like a double broken bit
- if the horse exerts a strong forward pull on both reins, it changes into a bar bit
Note: Any bit can cause pain if it is used roughly or improperly. The wrong size can also be painful for the horse.
