- the full cheek gag comprises 2 vertical shanks on each fixed ring
- there is a little more lateral pressure (against the cheek) by these two tightenings and they therefore serve as steering aids
- the ring of the full cheek gag is smaller than that of the standard full cheek bit, resulting in less leverage
- the upper shanks of these full cheek gags are bent slightly outwards so that they do not get under the noseband
- as a rule, two reins are used
- one rein is buckled to the large ring and the other to the ring of the cheekpiece
- in this way, the rider can better control the pull-on effect
- the normal cheekpiece of the bridle is replaced by the pull-on cheekpiece with this bit

Notes
- Inno Sense mouthpieces are softer than those made of metal
- the horse teeth can shorten the life of the mouthpiece
- if placed correctly in the interdental space, damage is unlikely
- if damage is caused by sharp-edged teeth, this is not a manufacturer’s fault
