These provisions apply to:
- FEI jumping competitions for young horses (5-, 6-, 7- and 8-year-old horses)
- also permitted in other classes as an alternative to tendon boots with simple elastic fastenings or double-walled tendon boots
- the tendon boots described in this section may be used in all competitions without restriction
