The Novocontact single-bit snaffle by HS Sprenger has a unique oval bit shape. This is designed so that a wide surface lies on the tongue when the bit is lightly leaned on. Only with a stronger rein pull the mouthpiece tilts forward, briefly reducing the contact area and thus enabling effective aiding. This supports ideal communication between horse and rider and enables better contact. A further advantage of the underlay snaffle is its ergonomic shape, which adapts to the horse’s mouth and protects the corners of the mouth.
