- the pelham double jointed is a versatile bit that combines the flexibility of a loose ring bits snaffle bit with the necessary leverage
- with light contact it behaves like a normal double broken bridle
- when pressure is applied on both sides, it acts like a bar snaffle with influence on the poll, chin and mouth
Note: Any bit can cause pain if it is used roughly or improperly. The wrong size can also be painful for the horse.
