- the bradoon is an elegant, double broken bit that has been specially developed for use with a double bridle
- thanks to its slimmer 12 mm stainless steel mouthpiece, it offers optimum space for the curb bit
- any bit can cause pain if used roughly or improperly
- even the wrong size can be painful for the horse

Care instructions
- clean saliva residue under running water after every ride
- dry with a towel
Size guide
- an existing, well-fitting bit can be used as a reference for choosing the size
- alternatively, measure the width of the horse’s mouth (e.g. with a bit ruler or soft string)
- measure at the point in the mouth where the bit will later be positioned
- mark the end points and determine the distance
- the bit width should be chosen so that the rings are just outside or slightly above the corners of the mouth
- a bit that is too narrow can cause pressure points
- a bit that is too wide can shift sideways
- for bits with freely movable rings, there should be approx. 1 cm clearance on one side so that the rings can rotate freely without pinching the lips
