Description
Trust Curbgag Sweet Iron Low Port Bar Bit with Small Tongue Clearance
- the curbgag is a combination of a pelham and a loose ring bit
- the rings are loose and equipped with eyelets through which the curb strap runs
- this bit encourages the horse to straighten up
- the pressure is applied to the poll and the corners of the mouth
- the mouthpiece can be used with one or 2 reins
- usually 2 pairs of reins are used
- one rein is buckled to the large ring and the other rein to the ring of the cheekpiece
- in this way, the pull-on effect can be better controlled
- the normal cheekpiece of the bridle is replaced by the cheekpiece on this bit
- mouthpiece made from characteristic blue Sweet Iron
- the material develops a sweet-tasting surface rust on contact with moisture
- this naturally stimulates the horse’s saliva production and increases the acceptance of the bit
- in addition, the horse shoots more and the contact is improved
- Sweet Iron bits are suitable for all horses
- leaves the tongue slightly free and distributes the pressure on the interdental space
- the arch creates space for the tongue and reduces the pressure on the middle of the tongue
