Description
Trust Sweet Iron D-Ring Bit, jointed
The single broken D-ring bit by Trust is one of the standard bits and lies particularly quietly and stably in the horse’s mouth. The mouthpiece is single-broken and anatomically shaped so that it is accepted by most horses without any problems. In addition, the mouthpiece has a special alloy which forms surface rust when it comes into contact with moisture. This rust tastes sweet to horses, which naturally stimulates chewing and saliva production. The D-shaped bit rings facilitate stance and bend as they press against the cheeks, automatically pushing the horse’s head in the right direction. In addition, the bit cannot be pulled through the mouth. Due to these numerous functional characteristics, this bit is ideal for young and sensitive horses.
Note: When not in use, a thin, orange-brown layer of rust will develop on the mouthpiece. This can be removed with a damp cloth and does not represent a quality defect!
