The driving curb bit Liverpool Inno Sense is a bit that has been specially developed for driving. The leverage of the bit can be adjusted individually from little to strong impact, here the deeper the driving lines, the stronger the leverage. The bit is made of a synthetic material, which has been declared safe by the FDA, as it does not contain plasticizers and is therefore harmless to humans and animals. Since a synthetic bit is softer than a metal bit, it is best suited for horses with a sensitive mouth, or for young horses. Since horse teeth are much harder than plastic, they can shorten the life of the bit, but if the bit is placed correctly in the horse’s mouth, damage from teeth is very unlikely. The driving bit has a curvature in the middle, which provides more tongue freedom, thus pressure is also taken from the middle of the tongue and distributed evenly.
