• eggbutt bradoon made from characteristic blue Sweet Iron
• the material develops a sweet-tasting surface rust on contact with moisture
• this stimulates the horse’s saliva production in a natural way and increases acceptance of the bit
• in addition, the horse shoots more and the contact improves
• Sweet Iron bits are suitable for all horses
• single broken mouthpiece that blocks when hinged forwards
• acts like a curb bit when counter-pressure is applied and therefore has a stronger effect
• if the pressure is released, the mouthpiece becomes a single jointed bit again
• ideal correction bit for horses that go against the hand or ignore parrying reins

Note: If not used, a thin, orange-brown layer of rust develops on the mouthpiece, this can be removed with a damp cloth and does not represent a quality defect.
